Pinx hair salon began when Lisa Fletcher was 19 years old in 2001.
She trained in a busy town salon in Wakefield, in which she entered and won hair competitions and qualified up to a level 3. With help from princes trust she drew up a business plan accessed a grant and started renting a small room in a gym... her business expanded and Lisa now has a salon in a building called The Roundhouse situated on Queen Street, in Horbury, Wakefield.

Hi I’m Lisa, salon director and I’ve been a stylist and colourist for the past 23 years... I’ve entered and qualified to the finals in hair competitions. I love to modernise classic looks to make them fun and wearable and also create more out there quirky creations for my clients. I enjoy working with my clients to create unique looks that they feel great in. From blunt bobs... midi bobs.. hair extensions, hair ups, undercuts, razor cuts, textured styles to long rainbow locks and healthy shiney baliages. I love building strong connections and laughing with my clients and helping them express their personalities through there appearance. I’m always up for a challenge and giving professional advice where I can... when I’m not in the salon you will find me practicing the saxophone.. having fun with my little boy Miller.. or in the gym.
Betty
I’m Betty, I’m 22 years old, born and bred in Wakefield. From a very young age I realised I’ve always wanted to be a hairdresser and began working as a Saturday girl at the age of 14, in a hair salon where I continued to complete all my hairdressing and barber qualifications. I have 9 years experience in the hair industry and continue to want to learn and better myself as much as I can, keeping up to date with all the different styles/colours that come in and out of fashion. Learning in hairdressing never stops and that’s the beauty and art of the work each stylist can create which is why I love my job. Also seeing how happy my clients are once I’ve achieved a service they’re happy with makes all the hard work and training all worth it.

Hi I'm Jayne, front of house and receptionist, im a mum of 2 and grandmother of 4 of which I love spending my spare time with and always enjoy my weekends with. I enjoy greeting and helping clients with any queries, appointment booking and I strive to keep u updated with pinx news and special offers.
I enjoy being part of team pinx , chatting, serving refreshments and keeping you updated with any legal requirements such as skin testing prior to your appointment.
